Freeform research during an internship at la Manufacture de Sèvres
During my ceramics throwing training in the south of France, I had the chance to learn the tournage en creux technique at la Manufacture de Sèvres. In the grand atelier de tournage, I took the opportunity to freeform design a set of plates and bowls. I let go of preliminary drawings and ideation to design directly on the wheel, following the flow of my hands guided by the delicate nature of porcelain.
